The president and founder of Network Design & Consulting, LLC, James (Jim) Edwards got his beginning in 1983 when he graduated at the top of his class.
In those days, affordable computing was just beginning. Before then, computer systems were available only to government, military, universities, and large companies. Even so, very few companies had computer systems.
Mr. Edwards has obviously been with the computer industry for a long time. Through the years he has seen the rapid changes in systems and has endeavered to design systems that are open ended, i.e. extensible and expandable. He therefore does not believe that what most computer service companies are designing and installing are usually the best fit.
Network Design & Consulting, LLC was born officially in 2003 when Mr. Edwards could no longer stand the manner in which his employer was treating customers. They didn't seem to understand that it's simply bad business to leave a wake of angry, dissatisfied customers behind. At Network Desing & Consulting, we believe it is far more conscionable, moral, and profitable to treat customers just as we would want to be treated. And that is no pick-up line.
Mr. Edwards has done business with small 4 or 5 computer companies, to those which have literally hundreds of computers and a dozen or more file servers. These include hospitals, townships, police, environmental firms, manufacturers, publishers, schools, museums, and others.
